Thanks to an extensive train network, it’s easy to reach Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport from almost anywhere in the Netherlands and mainland Europe.

If you are already in Amsterdam, trains from the main train station (Amsterdam Centraal) depart on average every 15 minutes direct to Schiphol Airport. The journey lasts approximately 15-20 minutes.

You can also take the bus. To plan your journey, use the website:

From the airport, follow the signs for Trains or Schiphol Plaza. This is a concourse connected to all departure and arrival terminals. Then look for Arrivals 4. The nearest exit is next to Starbucks. Once you exit, you will see a parking lot and a covered brick walkway, leading you to citizenM, approximately 4 minutes away (250 meters).

You can also use the exit to car rental companies and shuttle buses. Once you are outside, turn right and walk along the airport building until you reach the parking lot. You will see our hotel from there, at the end of the covered brick walkway.

Between 00.00 and 04.00, Schiphol Plaza and the arrivals and departures halls are only accessible to travellers, persons who pick up someone and staff. If you are traveling to Schiphol from the hotel for a midnight flight, please use the main entrance located by the bus stops.

You can bring a luggage trolley with you if needed and leave it in front of the hotel – isn’t that nifty?
