about 5 Pointz
People from all over the world travelled to the site, making it one of the most visited places for street art anywhere. In November 2013, it was lost forever – first whitewashed, then demolished. citizenM reached out to the 5 Pointz collective in 2016, with an aim to give 5 Pointz back to New York City. The result is the Museum of Street Art (MoSA), spanning the entire 20-floor staircase of the brand new citizenM New York Bowery hotel.
The MoSA celebrates the reunion of 20 artists, their creativity and their craft, while resurrecting a significant and beloved landmark. (Photo credit: Rae Maxwell).

experience MoSA
You can’t visit the original 5 Pointz anymore. The New York graffiti landmark is gone forever, but not forgotten.
citizenM Museum of Street Art is a resurrection of the 5 Pointz art, spirit and community. 20 original artists have come together as a collective for the first time since 5 Pointz’ demolition, to work side by side once more. MoSA is a vertical journey through the revived spirit and graffiti art of 5 Pointz, rendered in wild color through the entire 20-story staircase of citizenM New York Bowery.
Start right at the entrance, where an astonishing red-and-black mural by lead artist Meres One features letters seen at the original 5 Pointz landmark. It’s the beginning of your journey through the new incarnation of 5 Pointz.
MoSA at citizenM New York Bowery is now open, and free to visit.
